Meet Katie and Eric! Their wedding was held in Toledo, OH at Eric's family's church. Their reception was at Dégagé Jazz Café, a non-traditional, but oh-so-awesome spot for a reception! I loved how it was more of a rooms and restaurant style instead of one large open area. It gave some neat mingling dynamics: dancing was held in one room while tables and chairs were in another. Those who didn't like the loud dancing could mingle where they could hear, and those who preferred the dance-room didn't have a room full of spectators. Nice choice on that one guys! Katie's dress was TO DIE FOR. It was seriously stunning. Her father passed away recently, so she incorporated his photo and a piece of his shirt onto her bouquet, and we got some sweet shots of that. I'm so glad she was able to do that.
My family and I stayed at Maumee Bay State Park (we're big campers) for the wedding, and we already have plans to visit again because of it's gorgeousness! It sits right on Lake Erie, and both the beach and the lands are just jaw-dropping. I'll add some of those photos at the end! Congratulations Schlueters!
